Meet the Officers

Avani is 10 years old and attends North Fayette Elementary School. The meaning of her name is Earth. Avani is fun, and funny according to her parents. She is authentic, which means true to myself. She is kind and very generous. Avani attends Legacy Theater so she can pursue her goal of being an actress. She is good at drawing frogs. Her favorite food definitely comes from Asia. It is sushi because she adores it. She also really enjoys scary movies.

Nyla Elise Green was born on September 6, 2010, which makes her a Virgo. She is 13 years old and attends Flat Rock Middle School. Her extra curriculum activities are piano, musical theater, two advanced drama classes, and chorus. She wants to be a singer and an actress when she grows up. A fun fact about Nyla is that she has an extreme fear of bugs. She flinches from just seeing a gnat that’s too close to her.

Ronnie J. Wells
Club Counselor/Founder

Ronnie started the 10-A-Day Speaks Gavel Club in his living room on May 8, 2011, in Jonesboro, Georgia. He is currently a Senior at Clayton State University, majoring in Legal Studies, with the goal of becoming an attorney.

 

He is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success Honor Society (NSLS), a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), and an intern with the Clayton County City of Jonesboro Government under City Councilman Alfred Dixon. Ronnie is the former President of the Duluth Speaks Toastmasters Club and the former Area Governor of Toastmasters International District 44.

 

He is also the owner of Ronnie J. Wells Book Publishing. Ronnie also volunteers with 8-Time Mr. Olympia Lee Haney’s Modern Day Knights Mentoring program, the NVS Building Community Program, and is frequently a guest speaker on Teen Talk Radio. Ronnie loves playing putt-golf, basketball, and orchestra music, and can be seen on roller coaster rides at Six Flags of Georgia almost every month!

Ronni C. Wells 
Co - Founder

Ronni Christina Wells is the Co-Founder of the 10-A-Day Speaks Gavel Club. In 2018, she graduated from Mundy's Mill High School in Jonesboro, Georgia as Valedictorian with a 4.68 GPA. The same year, she was also a full-time Dual Enrollment student and graduated from Clayton State University majoring in Psychology.

 

Ronni served as Club President of the 10-A-Day Speaks Gavel Club from 2011-2014. Ronni was featured in Jet Magazine (Nov. 22, 2010, issue) in support of First Lady Michelle Obama's child obesity prevention campaign, Let's Move. Ronni also wrote two books: Kids Eat Free and Tales of the Spoiled Princess. She is a 2015 National Society of High School Scholars Lifetime Member Inductee.

 

She was honored with a Proclamation by Former Clayton County Commissioner and Vice-Chairman, Wole Ralph as being an Outstanding Young Leader. In 2015, Ronni was also honored with a Proclamation by Clayton County Commissioner, Gail Hambrick, on behalf of the 10-A-Day Speaks Gavel Club.

 

Ronni is currently a Senior at Georgia Tech University. She loves reading, watching tv, dancing, exercising, and other sports activities.

Caiden Green 
President

Caidan is 15 years old, and a sophomore at Sandy Creek High school. She has two sisters and a close-knit family. She loves keeping herself busy, so she is a part of many clubs at school and out of school. One of her hobbies is drama, and the 10-A-Day Speaks Gavel Club, which has helped her a lot with her speaking, tone, and delivery. She also plays the piano and cello. In her free time, she reads, goes thrift shopping with friends, or works on an arts and crafts project like sewing. The 10-A-Day Speaks Gavel club has always been important to her since she was little, in which she has been in the program for 10 years. Some of her earliest memories are with Mr. Ronnie Wells and standing at the podium at age 5. Caidan wants to show kids and adults all over the world that public speaking is not as scary as it looks, and anyone can do it with practice.

Kai is 12 years old and has been a part of the 10-A-Day Speaks Gavel Club for over four years. She is one of only a few gifted students who has completed all ten of the speeches required. 

 

Her extra-curricular activity this year is Pep Band. Her future goal would include a career in art, music, or something with dogs. A fun fact about Kai is that she likes to ride jet skis on the lake with her family.

Emily Alexander
Vice President - Public Relations

Emily is a 16-year-old junior at Lovejoy High School, and she is currently ranked #1 in her academic class. She is a dual enrollment student at Clayton State University and a 4-year Varsity cheerleader and track athlete. She competes with CAO Elite All Stars as a Level 6 athlete. This represents her 12th year as an All-Star cheerleader. In track and field, she runs the hurdles and she pole vaults. She currently holds the title of the 2023 Clayton County Regional Pole Vault champion. 

 

Emily attended the Unidos Dual Language program for the first 8 years of her academic career where half of her core curriculum such as her math and science classes were taught in Spanish. She’s been a member of the 10-A-Day Speaks Gavel Club since 2017. 

 

Her future goals include continuing to cheer and pole vault in college while pursuing a career in aviation as a pilot. 

 

A little fun fact about Emily is she is a Rubik’s Cuber. She always has her cube with her, and she enjoys showing people how to solve it.

Victoria Smith
Vice President - Membership

Meet Victoria Nicole, a dynamic and accomplished 7th grade student at the prestigious Utopian Academy for the Arts. With an impressive track record on the a/B honor roll, Victoria is not only excelling in her academics but is also making a mark beyond the classroom.

​

As the creative mind behind the children's shoe brand, Victoria Nicole, she brings innovation and flair to the world of footwear.  Her passion for design is reflected in each pair, showcasing her commitment to quality and style. 

​

Beyond the business realm, Victoria is a multi-talented individual with a penchant for video production, public speaking, and the art of braiding. Her diverse skill set extends to her active involvement in extracurricular activities.  Notably, she served as the Sargent at Arms in the Gavel Club and is currently the Vice President of membership, Gavel Club, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to fostering effective communication. 

​

Victoria is not only focused on personal growth but also dedicated to giving back to the community.  As a Counselor Assistant at the 2023 NVS Moms event and a volunteer for the NVS Building Communities Program, she demonstrates a strong sense of social responsibility.

​

On the sports front, Victoria's love for basketball has been a constant in her life since the age of 4.  Her skills on the court mirror her determination and discipline.  However, her athletic pursuits don't stop there - Victoria is delving into the world of equestrian sports, with a particular focus on professional horse riding.  Her love for horses goes beyond mere riding; it's a passion she is actively cultivating.

In summary, Victoria Nicole is a bright, creative, and driven individual who seamlessly balances academic excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, community service, and a love for sports. With a captivating blend of professionalism and personality, she is undoubtedly a rising star worth watching.
